Our Objective:
Formed in 2018, Northern Steel began as a community car meet in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia to give car enthusiasts a place to come together and enjoy their cars with like minded individuals.
From its initial meeting in September 2018, Northern Steel’s founders Peter and Alison Davis, have endeavoured to shine a light on men’s mental health and the huge part the enthusiast car scene plays in providing a passion and outlet to those in need.
Since its inception Northern Steel has raised funds through memberships, merchandising and donations to enable it to support the chosen monthly men’s, women’s and children’s charitable organisations and has continued to grow with the support of the local car community.
In September 2020, following the introduction of the C4C Concession Scheme by the Department of Transport, Western Australia, the decision was made to incorporate Northern Steel into a community Car Club and register with the Department of Transport as an approved car club to offer concessional vehicle registration to members.
Our Objective:
Northern Steel Car Club is a Perth northern suburbs community based club for classic car enthusiasts with the primary objective of meeting like-minded individuals and raising money for men's, women's and children's health charitable organisations. Northern Steel also aims to support local small business enterprises, particularly in the automotive industry, by providing a conduit to promote their services through the club and at club endorsed events.
